Birth Photograpgy FAQ
Hold Your Due Date
Begin by submitting a Due Date Hold request through the booking page.
You’ll select your preferred collection and provide your estimated due date so I can review availability within your on-call window.
Because I accept a limited number of births each month, due dates are secured on a first-in basis.
Availability Confirmation
Once your request is received, I’ll personally review my on-call calendar around your due date.
If availability aligns, I’ll confirm your space and prepare your contract and invoice.
If I’m at capacity, I’ll offer alternative options such as Fresh 48 coverage or priority waitlist access.
Contract & Retainer
To officially secure your booking, you’ll receive a digital proposal including:
• Your photography agreement
• Collection details
• Invoice for your reservation retainer
Your due date is secured once your contract is signed and retainer is paid.
Welcome & Preparation
After booking, you’ll receive your Birth Photography Welcome Guide, which includes:
• On-call information
• When to contact me in labour
• Hospital preparation tips
• What to expect on the day
• Fresh 48 planning (if applicable)
I remain available to answer any questions as your due date approaches.
On-Call Coverage
From 34 weeks, I officially enter my on-call period for your birth.
This means:
• My phone is on 24/7
• My gear is packed
• I am ready to attend when labour progresses
I’ll join you once active labour is established, documenting your story as it naturally unfolds.
Gallery Delivery
After your baby arrives:
• Sneak peeks are delivered with 2 weeks of birth
• Your full gallery is professionally edited
• Delivered via private online gallery within agreed timeframe (usually 6 weeks)
From first breath to first cuddles — your story is preserved forever.
